    STUD MOUNTS

    Thursday, February 11th, 1999

Kent, Ohio: Sorbothane, Inc., the custom molder of Sorbothane, a viscoelastic material introduces its line of standard Stud Mounts.

Sorbothane Engineers have developed a line of Stud Mounts to provide precision shock mounting for light weight machinery. A major benefit of the mounts are their ability to isolate a system from unwanted vibration and resonance by lowering the natural frequency of the system.

Sorbothane is a material widely recognized for its excellent shock and vibration isolation characteristics. The material exhibits high damping properties over a broad temperature and frequency range. The materials unique properties make it ideal for applications including machinery that require both shock absorption and vibration control. It is clearly the material of choice for today’s demanding engineering specifications.
