Position: Production Supervisor
Work Week: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Supervisor: Plant Manager
Scope of Position: To schedule production and assign job requirements to meet scheduled ship dates. To insure all products are made to specifications using proper materials and equipment at a cost effective manner. To provide a safe and clean work environment.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open factory at 5:00 am
- Prepare and set up production machines for that days work.
- Assign production job duties for the day.
- Attend weekly production meetings.
- Train new employees.
- Responsible to ensure company has the proper number of operators and general labors to produce the required parts in a time frame that meets the company stated lead-time.
- Approve and schedule requested vacations of factory personnel.
- Assist Plant Manager in developing new manufacturing techniques to improve plant efficiencies.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Assign cleaning jobs as required.
- Responsible for maintaining high moral in the factory.
- Running production as needed.
- Run prototypes as needed and creating a spec sheet.
- Backup Shipping, Receiving, Q.C. and Maintenance.

- Able to read product specs and drawings
- Able to use measuring tools
- Basic math skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma and 5 years manufacturing experience of molded or manufacturing urethane, rubber or plastic parts.
- Management experience.
- Knowledge of Micro Soft Windows and relevant computer applications
