Isolation Rings
Sorbothane Isolation Rings are ideal for heavy load applications that require shock protection or a low system natural frequency. Typical applications include shipping sensitive hardware, optics, and electronics.
To order: Specify part number, durometer, quantity, color. Color black is standard. Other colors and dimensional variations are available by special order.
Multi-Axis Isolator - Hard Drive Corner Pad
The multi-axis isolator, part number 0576615, was developed for large-diameter-disk memory storage devices. The Sorbothane is encapsulated between two brass housings. It provides shock and vibration attenuation in all directions.
Load Ratings: 0.5 - 1.0 lb at 30 durometer, 0.75 - 2.0 lbs at 50 durometer, 1.5 - 4.0 lbs at 70 durometer
The Hard Drive Corner Pad, part number 0578485, is suitable for moderate duty shock mount of hard disk drives or LCD's in portable electronic devices. Load rating is 1.5 pounds per corner. Sold only in lots of 100 pieces. Material is 50 durometer gray.
